Account Features |
Homework Online offers 4 different types of accounts, each having different features:

Teacher Basic Account |

The Teacher Basic Account has $10/year and allows teachers to enter the schedule of
classes they teach during the day. They are then able to post a homework assignment for
each class that they teach. When they post a new assignment, the old one is over-written.
These assignments are accessible to their students (and students' parents) when the student
creates an account and ads the teacher to their class schedule. Teachers using this account
can upgrade their account to a Premiere account easily.
Basic Account users are given a 15 day free trial period during which they can fully
utilize their account before being asked to pay. Basic Account users can switch to
a Premiere Account at any time.

The Teacher Premiere Account is $20.00/year. This account allows teachers to enter the
scheudle of classes they teach. Teachers can do the following with a Premiere Account:
- Teachers can post an unlimited number of homework assignments for each class that they
teach. Old homework assignment can be kept on the server as new ones are added.
- Teachers can upload files and URL website links to attach to assignments.
- Teachers can also upload files and URL website links as general "class resources"
for students to download.
- Teachers are given 5 Megabytes of server space to post these files on their account.
- Teachers can maintain and completely manage (delete and post messages) on a class
forum (class message board) for each class.
- Teachers can "restrict access" to their classes ensuring that only the students
in their class we be allowed to view that class's information.
- Teachers can post grades online for their student's to view. This online gradebook
calculates final grades automatically using custom grading methods. The grades are securely
posted ensuring that only the student (and parent of the student) will be able to view only
their grades.
- Teachers can download and print progress reports generated from their online gradebook.
Premiere Account users are given a 15 day free trial period during which they can fully
utilize their account before being asked to pay. Premiere Account users can switch to
a Basic Account during their trial if they wish.

Student Account |

The Student Account has no monthly fee and allows students to access the information
that their teachers post online. A class schedule is setup and stored on the server so that
every time a student logs in, their homework is displayed for them.
Information they can access includes their homework assignments,
grades for assignments, files to download and websites to visit,
a class forum (message board), and more.
Some teachers do not have access to all of these features and will not post all of the
information listed above.
